Our Roasters

​

At Pivot Roasters, we use an IKAWA Pro fluid-bed sample roaster and a seasoned Mill City drum roaster to carefully roast our beans to perfection. Under expert guidance, these roasters allow us to create unique and complex blends that are sure to please even the most discerning coffee connoisseur. Whether you are looking for a single origin coffee with bright, fruity flavors or a rich, bold blend, we have something for everyone.

 

Owner and head roaster, Rachael Odish, is an SCA certified coffee roaster with over 15 years of experience in the food and restaurant industry. She spent the last 10 years specializing in coffee, and has a passion for the art and science of roasting. Born and raised in the Detroit Metro Area, Rachael has a strong connection to the city and its emerging coffee culture. She is excited about the opportunity to help Detroit thrive again and contribute to a growing and collaborative coffee culture in the Midwest and Port Huron.
